Here at Del Toyota the atmosphere is a buzz with the new models in our showroom.  However, more than the rest the new and improved 2014 Toyota Tundra is creating a stir within both the automotive and farming world.

"Reworked inside and out."1 That is how Toyota broadly describes the new 2014 Tundra, but that just scratches the surface on how the new model has been developed and improved.

Throughout the history of our nation farmers and pickup trucks have gone together like cows and stink, so when Toyota went to design the new model of their bestselling truck they obviously turned to Mike Sweers, the chief engineer of Toyota pickup trucks.  Well, it just so happens that Sweers is a farmer, owning and operating an active hay farm in Northern Michigan.

Talk about a match made in hog heaven!

Working closely with a real life farmer in Mike Sweers has allowed Toyota to add some incredible features to the all-new Tundra, including: A three-piece front and rear lower bumper to reduce replacement costs, a refined interior to balance the bold exterior, an updated Entune Audio system, and a standard backup camera.

In addition to these added features, the new Tundra will be the first ever full-sized truck to incorporate a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic alert.

With all of these added features and the new design the Tundra is looking to break out of the gates this September and enter the rodeo with a modern blue-collar look and the amenities for every type of driving whether it be in the countryside, city or suburbs.

We are making room here in our Thorndale, Pennsylvania showroom for the new Tundra and are eager for its addition to our inventory of new cars. So come join us at Del Toyota and take a look for yourself at the pickup truck that is built tough like the farmers that inspired it.
