The Consumer Electronics Show is always an exciting event for the technology-forward Toyota Motor Corporation.
Last January, famed futurist Dr. Michio Kaku took the stage to talk about the sustainably fueled Toyota Mirai.
Later today, we're scheduled to hear more from Dr. Gill Pratt, a robotics engineer Toyota seduced away from DARPA to be the CEO of a new research and development company set in Silicon Valley.
The Toyota Research Institute (TRI) will be focusing its work on artificial intelligence and robotics. So far all we know is that their goals include improving driving accessibility, mobility, and safety.
Based on Toyota's goal to get self-driving cars on the highway by 2020, we're betting to hear more on autonomous vehicles this weekend.
